At Surf Synergy, we take our food very seriously. Quality whole ingredients are the base of all our menus. From organic produce to 100% grass fed meats, we work together with our local producers to ensure not only the health of our guests, but also our community and our planet! Our chef, Pedro, is a graduate of the Costa Rican National Institute of Learning with a focus on Culinary Arts. He is deeply passionate about creating foods that generate life energy and working with the wisdom of native plants.
Chef Pedro Prabhu graduated from the Costa Rican National Institute of Learning in 2010 with a focus on culinary arts. Pedro has studied the Medical Medium protocols and has been trained by Muneeza Ahmed, in addition to deepening his studies as an apprentice with various master chefs in the fields of raw vegan, gluten free and Ayurvedic cooking with expert Jessica Kruse.
His culinary masterpieces include the wisdom of endemic plants and a focus on foods that generate life energy. In addition to being the head chef for Surf Synergy, Mr. Prabhu is the owner of La Botánica, an educational center focused on inspiring workshops in the area of raw and vegan cooking, building community, and transforming the next generation of culinary leaders.
