The week will be broken into 2 sections: Level 2-3 and 4-6. Each section will have a 3 day Power Surf component, and each section will do the full immersion program with Surf Synergy, including:

  • Land-based surf training inspired by biomechanics and martial arts

  • Water sessions with personalized coaching and video analysis

  • Functional movement techniques to improve balance, power, and flow

  • Breathwork and mindset coaching to enhance performance and confidence

  • Immersive experience in a luxury surf retreat setting

TRAINING OVERVIEW

An Integral Training Program for Intermediate and Advanced Surfers

Designed for surfers who regularly hit the waves but feel stuck in their progress and are unaware of their technique, this program offers professional guidance to elevate your surfing performance. Developed by surf coach Rodrigo Machado, the training is structured around the 4 Pillars of High Performance: Physical, Technical, Tactical, and Psychological. This method provides step-by-step instructions to enhance your learning and technical execution of surf maneuvers, while also fostering a resilient mindset to achieve your goals both in and out of the water.

In this training, you'll discover the ideal technical model for executing maneuvers, leading to a series of consistent results that will transform your surfing style. Beyond technical skills, the program aims to unlock human potential, empowering you to create your own reality and realize your dreams through surfing.

This comprehensive and efficient training has been successfully validated in major training centers across Europe and by both recreational and professional surfers worldwide. There is no trial and error here—it's about becoming the best version of yourself in surfing.

If you're eager to learn or refine the proper techniques for performing maneuvers and want to cultivate the awareness needed to push your limits in surfing and life, THIS TRAINING IS FOR YOU!

Below are some of the techniques you will be learning over the program:

  • In the Rail Game, we focus on the Gorilla Pose to enhance stability to compress on the rail and foster a deeper connection with the board. To draw arcs on the wave, the surfer must adeptly lean off the rail, marking the beginning of the Power Surf Journey.

    In this training, you will learn how to:

    • Compress effectively in the Gorilla Pose

    • Compress on the toe-side rail

    • Compress on the heel-side rail

    This training is designed to refine your Rail to Rail technique and update your surfing performance.

  • Speed is the cornerstone of progress in surfing. In the Generate Speed training, we focus on harnessing speed along the rails to navigate the wave's fastest sections and seamlessly link maneuvers without losing momentum.

    In this training, you will learn how to:

    • Generate speed in fat waves;

    • Generate speed between maneuvers;

    • Accelerate through faster sessions;

    This program is designed to enhance your ability to maintain and build speed, ensuring a more dynamic and fluid surfing experience.. 

  • “If it's Fat, Cutback." This is the mantra Australian coaches use to remind their students that in the flat sections of a wave, executing a Cutback is the best way to stay close to the wave's energy zone, which is often the foam.

    In this training, you will learn:

    • How to move away from the foam while generating speed

    • How to maintain a flexed position on the board's rail to return to the foam

    • How to complete the Cutback in the foam and exit the maneuver with speed

    This training will enhance your ability to navigate flat sections effectively, ensuring you remain in the wave's power zone.
